Education

Since graduation from the University of Melbourne in 1988, Shelley Penn has been involved in the teaching of architecture as a tutor, studio coordinator and guest critique/assessment panellist at levels ranging from 1st year to Masters level, in architectural design, communications and in landscape architecture at the Universities of Melbourne and RMIT, and Monash University.  Her involvement in education has also included:

  • Appointment as Principal Fellow (Associate Professor) to the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Melbourne
  • Chair, Architecture Advisory Board, Faculty of Architecture, University of Melbourne
  • Appointment as an Adjunct Professor in Architecture Practice in the School of Architecture, Monash Art, Design and Architecture, Monash University
  • Membership of the Campus Development Committee, RMIT University
  • Membership of the Professional Advisory Group, Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne
  • Membership of the Course Advisory Committee, Bachelor of Architecture Degree, RMIT
